Colours of the world!
With a great combination of volcanic activity (also what heats the hot springs)
and arctic climate, Iceland has some of the most amazing and varied landscape
in the world. Cobalt blue, poison green, rust-red, devilishly red, orange
and pink are not colours you expect to see in Nature. But in Iceland, don't
be surprised if you see them all in the same place!
Amazing Beauty
With more rivers and waterfalls then I would ever dare to count (small and
big), more beautiful rock formations and lava plains then anywhere else, more
amazing hot springs and hot pools then you'd dare to think and more exquisite
wonders of nature than you could ever imagine Iceland is truly the tour guide's
dream.
Whether you travel a long distance across the country or just a few hours away from the capital, you can still find enough fantastic landscape to amaze your friends, family and tourists for weeks. Add to that the purest water and air you can imagine, the amazing viking and geological history, fire, ice, whales, horses, snowmobiles, river rafting, the blue lagoon, hikes and a couple of woolly jumpers and you can see Icelands attraction.
If you visit Iceland in the summer time however, be careful not to forget to sleep, as with 24 hours of daylight it's easy to lose track of time.
Pictured in this first picture are Hraunfossar (The Lava Waterfalls) which
are one of the innumerable waterfalls in Iceland, that are all unique in their
beauty. They are "...clear, cold springs that well up through the lava
and run in falls and rapids into the Hvítá River." For
